From Social Work to Law
Before earning her law degree, Brigid obtained a Bachelor’s Degree and a Master’s Degree of Social Work from the University of Missouri-Columbia. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, she maintains those credentials because long-term care planning requires more than just a knowledge of the law.
Brigid's experience spans nearly twenty years at a major medical center in St. Louis in addition to home health care and adult day services. Her knowledge of healthcare systems is invaluable in helping clients and families navigate the healthcare and long-term care mazes. Her unique combination of education and experience makes her a strong advocate for her clients.
Brigid graduated from Saint Louis University School of Law, where she received the Academic Excellence Award in Legal Profession. She was recognized for her commitment to public service with the 2006 Saint Louis University School of Law David Grant Student Attorney Award.
Brigid was named one of the 2018 Top Estate Planning Attorneys by St. Louis Small Business Monthly, March 2018.
Brigid is a Certified Elder Law Attorney (CELA)* as certified by the National Elder Law Foundation (NELF). She is also a Certified Civil Mediator and a Veterans Administration Accredited Attorney.
